Only one in 1/43? Well, what about this very old Dinky Toys?
And, wow! Is this the modern reincarnation of old car?
Would like to see it in 43rd scale too! |

Posted - 03/09/2012 : 15:34:45 Yes, that's the one, Mike; Gerry Anderson's creation from the mid 1960's. I think Thunderbirds were a staple diet for all kids back then :o)
This model of F.A.B.1 is the only Thunderbirds piece I have seen in 1/43. It would be very cool to have some of the pod vehicles, too - like the Mole, the Firefly, Thunderbird 4, etc.
Interesting, F.A.B.1 is one only two Rolls Royces ever to have a sloping radiator grille - and the only one to be authorised by Rolls Royce (the other is the Jonckheere Coupé)
