Ricardo Moura is finishing this beautiful Porsche 804 French GP 1962. As you can see in his photos, he has made the front and rear suspension from scratch using brass tubing. Follow this link to see his process so far. He will update any day now with final pictures. This one is available.

Impressive work. The space frame alone is a work of art...it would make a great side by side display.

Some time ago, Juergen also started to build the 804.
The main problem is the thin and filigreed construction of the suspension.
Here he used silver wires and profiles again. Also he used the nice Bosica-wheels for this model.
This is a complete scratch model. The scale-racing kit is in his propotions and dimensions incorrect. Also you could buy some diecast models, but they are more a kind of cartoons.

Photos of the real car I took at Laguna Seca in 2009. The Porsche factory brought an impressive array of cars from the museum.
