Hi, this is my new project for Miniwerks, the WC JPS Lotus 72, British GP winner 1972 with Emerson Fittipaldi at the wheel.
Based on the Tameo 1/43 superkit WCT70 and the SRC kit.
I hope you enjoy this WIP and feel free to ask about any doubt.

If somebody is interested in this model please contact Mike.
Thanks, Ricardo

Lotus 72 are a nightmare of detail and spec changes - it's not easy seeing what's what at times! I've started following your Facebook page - loving your builds!

the final on the left...

wheel hub have to be changed to

suspension arms and supports..

I hope you enjoy it, you can see more pictures on this link, https://www.facebook.com/pages/RossoCorsaModels/126762344003913?ref=hl#!/media/set/?set=a.603705966309546.1073741825.126762344003913&type=3

Thank you 72twink, I realise, later, those differences between the two versions. Curiously last year I built some Lotus 72 MFH 1/20 and I make the inverse way, the MFH kit for the 70 versions is incorrect. Side-pots, rear suspension and exhaust pipes are from latter versions. So I had to transform them on the C versions.

Lovely build and great idea to kit bash the SRC and Tameo kits but you've kept the C spec rear suspension and radiator pods from the Tameo kit, the SRC D spec ones are the correct items for this particular car/race.

This one is available now. The original buyer has decided to take the Barnett 250 GTO and Veloce43 250 GTOs so this is available again. Mike

Hi Performance, now I'm working on 2 Lotus 49 1/20 scale, from MFH and a 1/43 Porsche 908, Starter kit. You can see the wip on my Picasa page.

Hi Stewil, I take about 4 to 5 weeks, but I work on other models on the same time.

Thank you, Ricardo

Outstanding build Ricardo,
I have bookmarked your post for future model building reference as I have learned from it. Thank you for the excellent set of build pictures.
BTW - how long did this take you?

Cheers and Happy Collecting,
Steve
