I like very much all models from MAKE UP, the 288 GTO....the F40 and all the rest...i'm waiting for the MIURA, i already have some MR but i have to see the MAKE UP quality on that beautiful car.
About the 330 P4 i have several MG models of that car ( MITICA P4 Series ).....they look great so i don't have to change anything there...LOL!!!
Also wait for the Ferrari GTO '62.......

i dont have any dinos in my collection.. i cant decide which brand to get! :) think it will be down to colour for me..

Agree with Mike on the popularity of the 330 P4. Should be one of the most sought after Ferraris of them all. Really looking forward to see the Make up model.

MR/ Looksmart has most likely killed the Miura too. I dont car as I will most likely buy the Make up Miura, even if it still will take a while until its release.

Ah, that's right - I remember seeing that about the Dino E Type before! Nothing to do with Jaguar (sadly).

That is what comes of letting my excitement get ahead of my reasoning - I go and make a fool out of myself... Still, I am pretty used to that by now :o)

I think LookSmart killed the 1/43 scale Dino market. Before that, MR's Dinos, both factory built or in kit form, were always quickly snapped up. Now Make Up has a far superior Dino to anything yet, but they are very slow selling. I guess it comes down to timing on popular subjects like these - and LookSmart won this round.

The E-Type is not a Jaguar, it is another Dino 246 "Type E", european model, most likely the GTS open roof version I am guessing. Make Up will also produce the USA version with "chairs and flares" and Campagnolo wheels. It is interesting to note however that while the real Dinos have skyrocketed in price and are highly sought after by collectors, the model cars are not so popular whether BBR or Make Up. I was really surprised by the lack of interest I have seen with both brands. Maybe because everyone has them from MR years ago and then re-issued under the LookSmart brand. I am sure the 330 P4s will be much more popular though!

I am going to be extremely interested to see their new E Type (and depending on the colours, I imagine I will be buying at least one). A couple of those F50's sound interesting. The 330 P4 is a definite purchase for me, too.

In the meanwhile, I am still waiting impatiently for their "Cannonball Run" Countach...

Pat, Sorry, F50 GT fiorano Test is correct.
Differences are;
Prancing Horse badges on the front fenders,
Magneti Marelli stickers on the both sides of the front,
and the angle of the rear wing.
These are what I heard.

Pat, if you see the Make Up catalog EM157 is designated for F50 GTs, A being the "Ferrari F50 GT Fiorano test 1996" and B being "Ferrari F50 GT 1997". The more "normal" F50s are EM152-155.

Hi Nobuyuki,

is there more info on the differences between the F50GT EM157A "Fiorano test" and EM157B "red" than the leather base?
