Hello there,

You can download an updated xls version of the AMR production list here :
http://www.amr-modelcars.com/www/download/listing%20AMR%20mars%202012.xls

or here :
http://www.amr-modelcars.com/www/commun/since1975/index.htm

This model was released as a kit and as a factory built (see christian pic).
As a factory built (Jean-Paul Magnette), there are two versions :
- the blue one,
- a grey one "export serie" known in 2 versions (at least 2 samples light grey in BBR box and 16 samples "greenish grey" in altuglass box).

A factory built should show prod numbers "stamped" into the chassis plate.

Hope this help

Andre Marie Ruf and AMR are the same for me,
All made by this amazingly talented man!

So this is not a factorybuilt, and an Andre Marie Ruf, but its a fabulous modell!

Christian, this is one of my grails! ;-)

this is a factory built

Andre Marie Ruf was working from

1975 - 1992 for AMR
02/1993 - 03/1994 for Le PHOENIX
04/1994 until his death for Andre Marie RUF

the same man but not the same company

Sorry Christian, but it is an AMR!

Could be factorybuilt, but I am not certain..
The baseplate has the screwholes, and the paintdamnage could be caused by the whitemetal pedestals.. but not certain..
marking on the rear axle is ar=arriere.

The roi des belges is this one..

don't have a picture of mine available, so I used this one

A very nice modell though, one of my favourite amr's.

Fred,

According to my original AMR listing, in 1986 there was a
375 America Roi des Beiges Made by B. Savage.

It does not specify if that was a kit or factory built,
I don’t think that is the model your showing.

Usually all AMR kits or F.B. show markings on the bottom.

very easy

this one is NOT an AMR

neither kit nor factory built
