Some of you take really good photos of there models.
It would be very interesting to find out who in you opinion

As a matter of interest, all the photography on Laurent's website is by Max :o)

Also, speaking of the book by Max that Mike mentioned - I have seen it and would suggest that all of you reserve a copy from Mike to ensure you do not miss out... It is fantastic! (and, depending on the success of this one, Max has hinted that there might be a second one some day)

Yes I agree, the dark colour backgrounds helps reproduce the true colors of the model better then when someone use a light background.

If you look the pictures of 1/43 scale Ferrari 250 GTO (AMR kit) on the website of Garage43 (under portfolio), these pictures are really very good. Very sharp and the close ups are very beautiful pictured.

And the pictures on the website of Suberfactory are very good photographed, all sides and angles are very good sharp. Close ups is not his speciality, but the photo-positions and the light effects are extremely good.

It is very difficult to say who is the best photographer. In artistic insight, I think Laurent has the best pictures...especially how he made the close-ups. But for me...in general I love the pictures of Suberfactory.

Good point, Laurent and Fred's are exceptional. I like Laurent's use of the blue backgrounds too, seems to help reproduce the true colors of the model better.

Garage43 and Suberfactory has the best photos in my opinion. Their pictures are very professionally photographed, sharp and with black backgrounds for the best contrast.

But if you mean only the forum members, then I think Mike and mt1963 are the best photographers.

Max wins no contest! Speaking of Max, he has created a photo book of his work which I will be offering on Miniwerks soon.

Quite simple to answer:

Max (mt1963) and Mike ;-)

Best photos of events and real cars come from arthobald. The '250 GTO 50th anniversary tour' is outstanding!
Just my personal opinion.

As we vote here, I would not hesitate to mention that I love to follow those building threads from JPM, Fred Suber and 43king.
