Shin just finished this F40 engine made completely from scratch. He does not plan to build another one but may produce kits. He will need a source for white metal parts however. I have high resolution photos from Shin if anyone would like to see them. They are too big to post here so just email me and I will send as attachments. This engine will be hand delivered to a collector tomorrow. He has two real F40s and an F40 engine on a stand built for him by Ferrari. If he allowed cameras in his warehouse I would take a shot of this engine on top of the real one but I do not believe that will be permitted. This engine sold for $3300, it lasted about 10 minutes on the homepage.

Bullet proof in case the engine throws a rod, protects the models around it. :-)

Nice piece of work...but that case...looks kind of thick.
