Since my english is not any good, Fred Steinberg offered to take on the task of passing on this sad news in to you.

Jobst Zwehl -jaaz47- passed away.

He was not only my best friend, but also a confirmed specialist for everything and anything in scale 1:43, he knew every manufacturer, every model and the tales that went with them.

The loss is irreplaceable.

He posted pictures of my work in this forum and with all that he had, made the greatest efforts to translate my comments and descriptions.

He is deeply missed and I will never forget him.
I am very saddened.

Dear Jurgen:
I never met Jobst, but he introduced me to your work as well, and helped me to arrange our meeting in Germany last August. He clearly had a passion for our hobby and I am very sad for your loss of a close friend.
Steve
