Stephane Dufrene of Built Up Models has shared his latest WIP, a Brabham BT24 scratch build. Stephane started with the SMTS kit but all he kept were the wheels! The rest of this model is scratch built, tubular chassis, complete gas tank, engine, exhaust, rear & front end, all mechanical parts... He is working on the track base and will include a figure as well. More photos coming soon. This model will be available for sale.

I'm at a loss myself. Here's a photo from my father's archives of the car in mention at the 1967 USGP.

Hard to believe such a notable builder goes to this much trouble scratch building & gets the colour wrong. If you look closely at the instructions on the left side you can see the recommendation!

Good work , but the colour is wrong it must be british racing green and not metalised.

That is amazing work, but why did he not replace the tires. I am sure you could find better Good Year Blue Streak tires on a diecast.

That is superb!
