Thats an amazing set,
I read somewhere only 3 were made by AMR..

Unfortunately, my wife knows the value of my collection...
The moment I "pass out", she will booking a trip around the world from the "garage-sale money"(and I can't blame her).

This photograph always amazed me of an AMR/Annecy collection - not mine I hasten to add... but wow....

An idea for a new thread:
"What do I now regret selling"

I will start off with:the AMR/Bernard Sauvage Kit of the Ferrari 375MM King of Belgium(different from the recent Piranha kit)....and the Annecy P4 Spyder kit I sold last year,and....etc,etc:-(

I especially miss the many models my ex disposed of(literally)during my divorce......
moriaan Posted - 05/18/2010 : 04:45:23
damn.. could have been rich!
Sold 2 annecy-P4kits a few years ago..

"all of these of course can be corrected - at a price."

At the escalating prices Annecy P4 kits are selling for lately, you could buy at least 2 of the Make up for the price of one Annecy kit!
I have 1 each of the P4 and 412P kits in a vault.;-)Pretty soon I could retire to someplace sunny if I sell them......:-b

What a fascinating thread - such emotion.

I have resisted the temptation to respond until now. I think this Make Up 330 P4 looks superb apart from the forementioned Ride height issue which I would have thought they could correct (?)....

I still think the AMR/Annecy kit/model captures the spirit and essence of the P4 better but that is still flawed with minor detailing and poor wheels all of these of course can be corrected - at a price.

Full marks to Make-Up for taking up the challenge and making a lovely model. I am sure there will be plenty of collectors will buy the full set......

Where to next - a debate on the best 1/43rd 250GTO?
