Posted - 07/01/2014 : 04:06:39 Every citizen of Soviet Union, until it was damaged in 1990, dreamed of this car. It was the most prestigious mark of automobile, which could buy only selected. I was small child at this time. And "VOLGA" for all my childhood became my dream also...
Many years later I realized my dream. But in 43 scale :)
It was based on a model from a magazine series "Legends of the USSR". May be it is not so professional, so legendary as many other models on this site, but it is from my heart. Good looking, and waiting for your different answers&wishers...

Posted - 07/02/2014 : 07:21:10 It wasn,t a good idea to make rivets of bonnet hinges from polystyrene. So, after few months I found an acceptable solution. A rivets was made from brass tube 0,2 mm diameter. But really had to redo the inside of the hood.
