James just completed this wild little Mini for a client in California. You can see more photos just posted in the Gallery.

I am very happy to see James unique talents back in action. I am sitting at home admiring these photos waiting for this little beauty to arrive on my doorstep. I am a big fan of Mike Craig's Piranha line. I have a beautifully built version of his classic full detail Mini Cooper rally model that will reside next to this custom creation. I owned a 2009 John Cooper Works Mini in (metallic) BRG, but there are no worthy kits on the market for the R56 JCW to have built as a reminder of that fun car. When I saw the used 97 Piranha ACV 30 Mini Concept kit on eBay I bid on it hoping that James would be inspired to work his magic on it. It feels like having a custom car built by a famous designer. Bravo James!

Thank you for the kind words as they always provide me with renewed motivation.

Next project is in my head and has begun. "LaGTO".

Oh, now that is just brilliant!

I love how James so consistently takes insanity to a whole new level :o)
