Seem to me very well, but are not "cheap".

Posted - 05/18/2010 : 06:09:01 I love the level of detail in their models and when assembled properly they build into great miniatures but... IMO there are no parts in the kit's I've seen that I would consider perfect out of the box. Everything requires reworking or replacing. Crude metal casting, I think the black resin they use has a soft plastic quality to it I don't like, poor quality p/e parts, poor part fitment.
Check out the F40 build by Rosso... Nice!!!:

Oh yea that... That was to be a winter project but turned into more. I've been slamed at work combined with T ball games and b-day parties it's hard to find the time to put a proper coat of paint on the body parts. Hope to get some updates soon. |

I think I am going look further for the kits of:
Arena: Thomson 365 GTB/4 #39 Le Mans 1973 AMR: CH Pozzi 365 GTB/4 #71 Le Mans 1974
So If anyone this kits see, hope you think about me.

Posted - 05/17/2010 : 09:17:59 The results can be very nice, but David is right. From what I have heard, the parts fitting isnt that well and they do need some work. Only very experienced hobby builders such as our member Joe (we need updates for the Basic43 Porsche 550 WIP thread!!) or professionals should handle those kits.
New kits and a new website are in the pipeline. Looking forward to see them. |
