the paint is in most cases fine, its the glue that colors yellow.
Its not on all models the case, mostly very early models..

That is a bummer it would have to be rebuilt. Will the glue eat through the paint eventually do you think?
moriaan Posted - 07/28/2015 : 03:12:19
only cure is a rebuild... most older light colored bbr's show these stains. I know Fred can rebuild it for you.. he is here!

I have these stains on an old bbr model around the window frames and on the close by paint, the yellow glue.

Is there anyway to remove this or clean it up or just live with it?

I own only one 375 America Pininfarina
the other pics are preowned models , pics from friends , dealers or stolen on the web
my BBR foto collection includes around 4000 pics

I do not post my complete collection on the web
you can see my F1 collection here
http://www.miniwerks.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1428

you can contact me through my mail ( click on my name )
and I will send you a pic from a part of my collection
so you can see how my models are displayed

the only thing I don´t like is that little small plastic bag around the model for the last 15 years
the question is if the paint is still perfect or has allready some stain
everything else is pretty good
