Friends,
I would need some information in a technique what maybe already invented by some of you.
I am building a 1/43 model that has the nowaday popular windows, that have no rims, rather the brinks (round about the side-areas) of the glasses are tinted to black and they seem to be somwhow glued to the cars body.
I attach a picture what I am thinking about.

I am looking for the model interpretation of this solution.
Unfortunately there is no decal provided to the model with what this feature could be realized.
So my present approach is to paint (or airbrush) the brinks of that sides of the the windows that will face into the interior of the car and then glue it into the body.
There is not provided vacformed windows for the kit either - so flexible plexi sheet will be used.
I am looking for the answers of several questions:.
#8226; What kind of paint should be used to create this black frame? (eg. Acrylic?) It should stick quite strong to the plexi-sheet, since the glue will be applied on the paint-coat, so the paint-coat will act as a kind of mediator between the glue and the plexi sheet.
#8226; How the paint can be applied (using freehand brushing of making a mask an then using airbrush?)
#8226; What kind of glue can be used, to avoid the bad interferation wih the paint: so not to solve the already cured paint-coat.
So it is quite a complex task, I would be curious about your experiences/practice.

you can check the tutorial on Alex's website

I did it on a bigger scale but should work with 43th.
When the paint is cured, you can use G-S Hypo Cement to attach the window.
