Hi All,

I hope somebody here on the forum can put me in the right direction;

I bought a BBR kit last week but the transparent sheet for the windows is missing. I contacted the seller about it and all was solved very well - but I still miss the windows. Worst case scenario is to recycle some parts and to use the body to practice my spraying skills, but that would be a bit of a waste!

I think it is only a piece of flat sheet so it might be possible to make it myself, but I expect the FXX kit to have a pre-printed set, with window trim etc. I contacted BBR if they can help me out, but apparently they are closed this month.

I am in no rush, but I thought to give it a try here, maybe somebody can help me out? Handy to keep in mind - I am but a beginner :)

Hallo Dries ;) Thanks for thinking along

Nice to hear you had positive experience with BBR. I did not buy the model in a store, thought I made that clear in my email addressed to BBR but I was simply told to either solve it with the store or, after clarifying the matter, have the seller solve it with the store. I sort of took that as "figure it out yourself". But of course I will try next month!!

Coming Saturday I will probably make a trip to the Nürburgring, there is a very large race event for historical cars of several classes. Should see some nice stuff out there! I am familiar with De Roos, if BBR cannot help I can try him.

I am shure BBR can help you out, they helped me with a broken chassis for free. Yes, BBR is closed for the month, but you are not in a hurry you said!

Otherwise go to Houten this saturday and ask Arjan de Roos if he can help you out, maybe he has the kit and can see what you need.
