Posted - 08/27/2015 : 19:25:46 I received my "Holy Grail" kit today. It is the AMR GTO (4 versions) with engine. It is the street version. I would like to possibly convert it to a race version, if it is not too hard. I think a few of you here have built this kit, so any help with tips will be greatly appreciated. If I should keep it as the street version, is there another color other than red that would be good to paint it in?

Posted - 02/18/2016 : 16:55:35 You really need to research the exact version you want to replicate and then make the appropriate modifications. The AMR kits were fairly accurate so they are a good starting point but each and every GTO is a little different.

Right, Stas. It's the AMR Ref.400. In my opinion it's the best 1/43 scale GTO 62. Only needs a few refinements in the front wheel arches and in the air vents of the rear mudguards.

I'm bringing this one back up because I have pulled it out of my stash, and will be starting on it soon.
Can someone please tell me of the refinements that I need to make, so that it is correct.
Thank you in advance.

If I understand correctly, this is a replica of AMR kit? I was wondering which body is it, and found this: https://picasaweb.google.com/114895597328065174421/KIT#5799843676061259442

Posted - 11/13/2015 : 13:14:14 I think that is an AMR GTO II conveniently "cooked" by Massimo Grassi ... I used one of their wonderful engines to build my model. I love it !
