Just completed for me by Built Up Models:

(image credit: Built Up Models - more pictures on my website)

Based on an Alezan kit, although only the bodyshell was used; absolutely everything else was scratch-built!

In my opinion, Stéphane and Patrick are at the top of their game - and easily among the very best in the world when it comes to this sort of thing. They are also nice guys :o)

They really do great work, and they also do military models wich shows with their weathering and figure painting skills. On the larger 1/6th-1/8th scale models the wheels are the only slight weak point. He did a drop dead perfect Alfa T33/2 Lemans 1968, but the wheels look like 15 inch, not the correct 13 inch(to scale).

Amazing to watch him build.

I agree Marshall..and often think the same thing ;) I imagine they are not perfectionists, this always slows me down.

That is a beautiful model. I wish I knew how they were able to do such fantastic work so fast. Great piece, congratulations.

You and your good lady are always more than welcome, Chris, you know that :o)

Built Up's time frames is one of the many things that blows my mind - I suspect Stéphane and Patrick are actually robots who never sleep... In this instance, I began discussions with them regarding the 164 back in the beginning of July and they started on the model in early November. Added to this, they also built a pair of 1/12 motorcycles for me at the same time!

Outstanding Jono! Congratulations. How long did you have to wait for that beauty to be finished? Yet another reason to visit New Zealand (not that there aren't enough already).

You are absolutely right. I am the proud owner of the F50gt and a 333sp by Stephane
