I learned this morning of the passing of Peter Wingfield of Scale AutoArt and Pro Line. Peter was a good friend and he will be missed. Peter was 65 and lived in the Tampa area of Florida.

I had just landed from a business trip yesterday and received an email from Marshall Buck, had no idea, total shock. Definitely too young and sobering reminder of the fragile and unpredictable nature of life. I have seen a beautiful post on Facebook this morning. I don't know if this link will work but will try.

His Facebook page said he was 62, but it was still too soon to lose someone with his immense measure of talent. I did not know him, but his builds were an inspiration for higher craftsmanship. He will be greatly missed.

I'm really sad right now.
I was very appreciative of Peter, both as a person as a high-level professional modeler.

Rest in peace , Peter.
