After 15 years of badly wanting a model this specific car, Chan has performed his magic for me and I now have a 1/43 scale curbside 212 #0090E!

He passed a comment during the build that sums this up perfectly: he said this was a "jewellery class model" :o)

Chan built a pair of these together, mine and one for another collector. He not only totally reworked the body, but custom built everything else; hand-laced Borranis, photo-etched brass Englebert tires, cast and 3-D printed parts, etc., etc.. I reckon Chan is absolutely right at the top of his game - and only getting better!

What a mind blowing beauty! Could be easily 1/24 and still awesome!

Thanks Jono.... I would love to take you up on your offer one of these days. I know you have a great collection, and there is nothing quite like actually seeing those gems in person. I have always wanted to visit New Zealand. Same offer from me to you as well if you come to New York.

If you are ever in New Zealand, Marshal, you have an open invitation to come and view it in person!

Simply stunning. It's a "jewellery class model" alright. Masterful craftsmanship. Thanks for sharing.
