I received an email from a collector in Germany who won this Bosica 126 C2 kit on ebay. He is wondering if it is real or fake. I thought it looked correct but offered to show it to others who may own one.

David is right, I didn't notice the logo on the top of the box. This was a small series made around 1985 for that Italian magazine. I believe that 50 were made. On the lower part of the monocoque there should be the logo Modelli Auto as well.

If I'm not wrong on the top of the box there's the logo of "AutoModelli", an old monthly magazine founded in 1982 by M. Barteletti (not to be confused with the current ModelliAuto) which in collaboration with Bosica sold a certain number of Bosica kits. This one should belong to that special series.

I think that the outer box was used for the first Alfa's, but probably Vincenzo used them even later. Anyway it is good.

Looks like we have confirmed it looks genuine. The owner just replied by email he also has confirmed its' authenticity. Thanks!

I should have added, it was the outer box that was of concern. The owner wanted to know if it looked correct.

Box looks good to me....of course we can't see what is inside!
