Hello,
who of the experts here in the forum can provide some information about the kit mentioned in subject?
What is your opinion in regards of quality, details, built models?
Has someone pictures from a model built out of the kit? May be from one of the well known master builders? Would be great if this could be shared with us.

Just put a rough fit together for a few pics. I will have a lot of hoses and a few other parts to add, and have messed up the rear, so I am rebuilding that at the moment.
Like I have said before, I am starting to gain a greater and greater appreciation for what the pro's do. It takes an extreme amount of patience, and a ton of time (that I dont have).

after I tried my hand at soldering, I primed, filed, sanded, puttied, filed, etc. Paint and clear coat are average at best, but are from cans. I dont know how to airbrush. A true amatuer, but I love the hobby.
Trying to add some details to the engine bay as well, and rebuilt some of the other parts.

Here are a couple of pics of the one I have been working on. Again, this is the 4th 1/43 model I have tried to build, and I still have a long way to go, but some of it looks good, while some others still bother me. The nose of the car does not sit low enough, and the front intake is also not accurate on this model.

First, I want to make it very clear that I am by no means an expert. I may have one of the smallest collections on this forum. I have 10 Make Up, 2 Tecnomodel, and a couple of other Factory builts. The rest (about 12) are AMR or LePhoenix built kits. But I I have been trying my hand at building.
This kit has a couple of good qualities, and a few bad ones. The engine is nice and I'm sure a good builder could make it really shine.
Lots of detail parts but so many missing too. If you just build
the kit without adding details, the engie bay will look very bare. I have tried to make a few parts.
My main issue with the kit is the 'top and bottom' molding. It is hard to get the top to fit on the top without major gaps, and even then it doesn't look quite accurate. I decided to try to salder the top and bottom and I feel it looks better. But it's tough to add the interior later if you do this.
Also, if you assemble the front suspension, the tires and front of the car sit too high in my opinion. Also, the radiator with the kit is not very good, so you will need to make one with micro-springs. Also the fins on the nose are at a flat angle and need to be removed and new ones added.
Lastly, when you assemble the rear suspension, the rear tires end up sitting too far back, so you would have to cut the pieces to set them properly with the arches.
I think by the time I get the Make Up 330, I may just give up on this one : )
