they are remaking the 4.9 superfast and the 375MM Rosselini in silver!
I hate it! They are making fast money at the expense of longtime collectors!

I know the old models weren't limited, in the old days BBR's were all produced in "limited" numbers.
Its on the BBR website

Its great for new collectors that they can buy this car again, but for the old "guys" its not that great, that their cherished rare models are being remade..

where did you get the information that BBR is doing it again ?
when the new car was new it was not silver it was LIGHTBLUE
and it was NOT limited
the number on the base is for the annual production for all BBR models of the same year and not for a single one
410 SA Superfast series II 0719SA
it was NOT limited
as you can build 0725GT 250 GT Coupe speciale ( Prinz Bernhard ) from the same mould It was clear BBR will do it again
0725 GT is announced under the RGM label

I never trully believed in the exclusivity of BBR even not the
limit versions, when you see only 25 pieces made worldwide and in
a small store in Hilversum there are more then 5 availbable........ |

A very bad Idea of BBR, I think many collectors and friends of BBR,
are very angry, I hope not, BBR will go the way of a cheaper factory,
with bad quality, but I think, they are on the best way for this.

BBR has a great loss of quality on the new productions...lot of my friends are complaining with all the "Chinese" items...and now they are risking to undermine their reputation re-doing these old and rare ones....any other good idea?? ;-)) |

limited edition and BBR are 2 things that gives me a strange feeling somehow...
As stated before, BBR is losing a lot of their loyal longtime clients, just because the brand loses the exclusivity.
I can understand it from the businesspoint of view, but its sad..
"Chinese" production will change over the next few years,several companies will go down with that, GMP being the first recently.
I would rather pay a higher price for a "true" exclusive modell, than picking one from the flood of different versions.

If the very first editions weren't limited, they have the right to do it. Whether this is fully ethically correct or not it's quite questionable, though. |
