This tread is for the forum Porsche collectors.
All my Porsche models were built in the late 80’ beginning 90’.
Don’t expect high-tech models, but you will see some older
AMR classics and other fine Porsche models.

I will start with a AMR Kremer Porsche.

The shown Porsche 356B was my 1:1 scale car. I drove that
wonderful Porsche while I was stationed in Germany in the late 60’.
Photo was taken at the famous Solitude Ring near Stuttgart!
(wish I still had it!)

Some days ago, I meet a friend.
He is a specialist for Porsche Models.
I'll start with a small series of pictures.
Please accept, the pictures are not perfect!

The first two series are two 936 Testversions.

The awesome RSR! This is the 1974 LeMans version based on a fairly crude Starter kit. One of the largest rear wings I've seen in racing.

Here is a significant 917...based on a Starter kit with many modifications, including a one off figure by Cricket and correct wheel flares. Fully plumbed and wired. This model was built for Bill Oursler.

Here's a high detailed 356 based on the Bosica kit and sold by Mike.

I am in the final stages of a 356 Speedster Steve McQueen based on the Speedster kit produced by Miniwerks. It will feature the correct Rudge Wheels and Import bumpers. It is a one off model.

And it does have a racing history:

"McQueen entered the car at a club event in Santa Barbara, his first ever race, which he won. His victory gave him an appreciation for competition driving, which helped him escape the pressures of movie production."

I will post pictures as soon as it's done. I also asked Mike to let me run a build diary.
