Does some one about more about the level of K & R Replicas?

Which other brand are these models to compare with?

Do not discount all of K&R ,s models. In the main the body,s are quite accurate.I have always used them as a "base" for a project, adding better quality wheels etc,and with some work they can be made into excellent models. They also have a lot subjects not made elsewhere. The 1/24th D type Jaguar can with some work be made into a great replica (I have built many)

SRC are OK, less refined. I would say Tameo are the best for F1. The SRC are basically SMTS now. I have built a lot of SRC and they are correct but as I said less refined, i.e minimal pe parts and even less [if any] machined parts.

Tameo or Heco are the best, if they made the cars you are looking for. MG avoid in my opinion, other than a few of the 1/12th scale models. They are good to deal with but the models are toy like. I have a few SRC kits and they can also be pretty good sometimes.

I am replacing my diecast F1 Classic models for handbuilts. (500F2, D50, D246, D156, F156/158)

So better go for Heco's, SRC, Tameo or Mg Model Plus??

Like he said, more in line with SMTS. It depends on who did the masters. The 1/24th kits have very accurate bodies, but have poor quality decals and horrible tires/wheels. Most of the 1/43rds are older so vary in quality.

In my opinion similar to Western Models and SMTS, Lots of white metal and plated parts.
