Posted - 05/06/2010 : 15:53:56 Mark, This is your model in 1/24th scale? I thought Garage 43 only built in 1/43ed. That GTO is awesome.
Cheers and Happy Collecting, Steve |

Posted - 04/18/2010 : 11:51:02 Hello Bernd, If you are speaking about the original Climax kits and not the kits being produced by Hiro, when they do show up, which is not very often, they typically go for high prices, at least they did a few years ago when I purchased 4 of them. Three Ferrari models, a 250GTO 1962, 250GTO 1964, 250LM and a Aston Martin Zagato. They ranged in cost from $450.00 to $650.00US each. I'm of the impression, after talking to a couple of builders who have built both the Hiro and original Climax versions that they are very close in quality and I'm guessing the Hiro kits can be had for substancially less. Bought mine before Hiro started producing them, oh well!
Good Luck, |

Posted - 04/18/2010 : 09:54:27 Fantastic model, really impressive.
Maybe someone can help me. A friend of mine offered me two Climax kits. The first is a racing 250 GTO/62 to be build as number #11 or #16 and the second one is a racing GTO/64 to be built as number #25. Normaly I do only build and collecting models in 1/43 scale but I really like this kits and would like to have them. He asked me to make an offer. What would be a fair price for the two kits. Regards, Bernd |

Posted - 04/14/2010 : 06:53:03 thanks for killing my motivation :-( ...looks liek the MFH kit, I'm building the very same car at the moment and having lot's of trouble. And now I see your amazing build...well should I continue or give up :-) but one thing I have to thank you for. I wasn't sure about the rims, paint them or leave the metal. I will for sure paint them silver...looks great.

Saw the one Laurent did for you and was so impressed I asked him to do one for me. I have many of Laurents models in my collection and consider him to be one of the best builders around. His detail and paint work are among the finest I've seen. |

Posted - 04/05/2010 : 07:33:59 ioannis, I'm the lucky owner. Still in Laurent's hands awaitng shipment together with one additional model. Very anxious to see it in person. Waited a long time for this one but, after seeing Laurent's photos, it was well worth the wait.
