Speaking of Profil 24, they put some pictures of future 1/24th scale projects on their website. Great selection of 1950's race cars.

Clean up and initial dry fit stage has begun on the 450S. I can see lots of changes being made...especially improving on the panel fit, rivet details [removing cast in place ones] and chassis as already noted. I can also see the use of real aluminum will be a vast improvement here.
Overall the casting quality is very nice and general fit is acceptable.

The 450S arrived yesterday and I will go over it it more detail but overall the castings are very clean. I am thinking of fabricating the chassis over in brass to give it a more durable platform to build off of. |

That Profil 24 Maserati 450S is a really nice kit. The shape is almost perfect!! Have fun making it.
