My very first model built by Alberto Peretto (Aostamodels) was a 1/24 Profil 24 Jaguar Lightweight.

I think that this Jag is a very good theme to start this new section abour 1/24 handbuilts.

The red CJM model, scale 1/43, is Lumsden-Sargent E-type like the Profil 24 model built by Peretto.

Zibbi,

The picture you presented of the real E-Type is the Lindner-Nocker E-type
The models 1/24 models are the Lumsden-Sargent E-type

Both those E-Types look-a-like but ther are some distinct differences.

Hi Gary, nice you write here!
I bought the E Lightweight kit a long time ago, but recently I didn't find your website, where you once put photos of a new muscle Jaguar E.
Did you release it?

Thanks Gary

The Jaguar lightweight is a cool looking model.

I bought the CJM kit directly from the Factory some years ago, I think that with a quite good assembly it's a nice result.

The CJM version of that specific car must be really rare. It has been produced for the Jaguar Model Club which is associated with CJM.

If think this is the only with this shape.
Then there's the Provence Moulage kit that is the so called Low Drag Coupé.

The real car:

The CJM's Jaguar Lightweight is it the only existing model in 1/43 scale?

It is one of the cars that have never been done in a proper 1:43rd version (there must be a small quantity from Classic Jaguar Miniatures, but I cannot judge about them).

Hi John,

Thanks for the kind words. I might post some photos at a later time, but I'll have to ask Mike first. I don't want to appear as fishing for orders for my work, which I am not. Thanks again.

Thanks Marshall, you're welcome.

I'll try to share everything that I have in 1/24.
As you are a famous builder I'll be glad - we'll be glad - if you post some threads of your super builts.

John, nice model. A great addition to any collection. I like a lot of the Profil 24 models and have bought a few kits for myself. Some are better than others with regard to detail and accuracy.

Again, really nice model and thanks for showing it.

Thanks for posting the pics, John. I really love that Jag and I also think about buying the Profil24 model. It is one of the cars that have never been done in a proper 1:43rd version (there must be a small quantity from Classic Jaguar Miniatures, but I cannot judge about them).
