Hi guys.

I had a recent disaster involving the body of my MFH 250 GTO. Since MFH has ran out of replacement bodies, I am looking into having the body restored by another modeler. If anyone is interested in restoring the body, please let me know. I will include photographs of the damaged body in this post. http://public.fotki.com/KidCharlemagne/250-gto-damaged-body/

If anyone is interested in restoring the body, please contact me.

Thanks.

The body can be repaired with resin but it is an expensive proposition. I would not recommend mixing resin and plastic for a repair.

If you have no problem with a plastic body then using that option is fine.

I had exactly the same idea but Tom beat me to it. I was thinking of the Revell/ Italeri plastic kit. I think the body will be really difficult to repair. If you insist on reconstructing the resin body you might insert parts from the plastic kit.

I have a better idea that will be cheaper, go buy a Fujimi 250 GTO and combine the kits. The Fujimi GTO body is more accurate.
