Please, I have a question. I need to correct model, windshield auto wiper stick. What glue can I use? And how do I fix that it held until the glue hardens. I have 2 adhesive.
- Revell Contacta - I fear it will erode the color and plastic (windows frame)
-Pattex (the manual is written from is not suitable for PE, PP film and teflon)
Both adhesives cure in more than 24 hours. Today bought a 18 mm Tamiya masking tape - it's good to fix provide a windshield wiper and window films? Thanks for the advice.

My adhesives:

I have been using 5 minute epoxy for years on windows.
CA glue for two piece wipers.

The Tamiya tape is fine. The "blue" tape I refer to is the 3M painters tape.

Very thank you all! So there not cyano glue the wipers and window films. OK. I found a few glue. But not all of what you write. I'll keep looking. At one forum advised me testors glue into clear components. Your advice is valuable for me, because you're modeller who have perfect models. I still only becoming the models. Trying to basic techniques. And I also repair factory models in the collection. Maybe I still have questions, but for now I am grateful.

Oh yes! Super glues must fully cure so all fumes dissipate. It has happened to me when putting the interior in [many tears ago] and fogs the glass. Strictly epoxy now.

in the beginning of my "career" I used superglue to fix a baseplate.
right after, I placed the modell in a displaycase... a few hours later the entire modell was covered in a misty coat of fumes revealing several fingerprints (by me).

Shared my experience on a social media site, and found out later, lots of criminal offenses got solved ;-)

Peter is correct about all super glues. NEVER use them for attaching any parts to windows or attaching the windows themselves.

A very safe method is to use "Jewel-It" embellishing glue...available at fabric stores, etc. Once it has fully cured you can easily wipe away any excess with a damp Q Tip.

Hold the window and frame down with small strips of blue tape to either side...drop in the glue and let it set for a few hours.

DO NOT use any type of super glue!

I suggest "Micro Krystal Klear" from Microscale Industries. Easy to use, and clean if you make a mistake, dries clear, it's made for this type of use.

If you use Cyano, remember that how smaller the drop the better it is, and place the part right the first time..

I use bisonkit for a lot of different jobs.
Easy to remove, no stains and esay to use.

Hi Roman
I glue the wipers with cyano ( a small drop, on the inner part...)
For the frames, I use white glue ( TRON transparent glue Extra, REP. SP 130).
