Just want to share some in progress pictures of the project I'm currently working on: the Shark Nose as driven by Phil Hill during the 1961 GP at Spa-Francorchamps. As mentioned it is the MFH kit, but with tome improvements. And this one will be built Open&Close.
First dry-fitting of the tubular frame.
All parts were etch primed, primed, black Gloss as a base for the several Alclad metal tones. Finally oil paint was added to get the patina look.
Frame fresh painted with Pol. Alu...
And treated with oil paint.
Building the spoken wheels...
Adjusting the body parts to get a nice and proper fit...
And we have an Open&Close Shark Nose ;-) More pics can be found on FB account. Next will be preparing the body parts for painting...
