Hi my friend

I just finished this model. New Bosica 356 speed was too expensive, so somebody let me modify hardtop kit to speedster. Hope you will like it.

When Bosica released the original coupe he was planing to do the Speedster next...it was even on the instruction sheet in the decal guide portion. I am pretty sure he had the Speedster script and the lower rocker trim. I don't have the kit anymore so I am going by memory.

The "new" Bosica Speedster is just way too expensive. I am sure it's a wonderful model. IMO just cast the body in white metal and lower the price. I wish Bosica had released it himself. Rumor was it was going to feature a working soft top...imagine that!

PeterW~ Yes, you are right, the mirror should be on the door. This is my mistake. Thank you! About the rocker trim. There are few pieces on front and rear bumper, If I scratch build rocker trim. They will not the same style. Because they are photo etch. I could not scratch built the same style like original parts. Next time maybe I will try to custom made some photo etches. Thanks anyway!

Yes, but small mistake on an otherwise superb model. And I do like the red interior ;)

I'm surprised Bosica didn't have the lower trim. He did have Speedster planned as a future release and I think I remember some of the pe was on the sheet. Again, if memory serves me and these days it's not very sharp.

~Peter~
I know this kit include rocker trim. In fact, this car is a finished goods by somebody from ebay. When I got it. There is no lower trim on the model. About this problem, My friend accept.
About Bosica speedster, did you mean this one?

This kit include rocker trim. but it is too difficult to get the kit, and it is too expensive, too. So my friend want me to modify this hard top to speedster. Any command welcome.

I don't think the Speedster had it's mirror mounted on the fender, they are typically on the door, unless it's a replica. I could be wrong, but it doesn't look quite right to me. And the rocker trim is missing.

Thank you joe. The dash and seats did not use speedster units. Because the customer says enough. So.....that's it. XD

And actually I paint the wrong color on interior. Customer wants color red. So this photo is the finalized.

Cool!!! Nice work on the rear clip!!! I also like how the windshield is made with that channel for the glass. But why did you use the coupe dash & seats instead of finding a Speedster units.
