Well, here goes. I'm not usually bothered with forums but this seems to be a good one. It is nice to read the posts submitted by memebers and to view their work which I must confess is superb.
Anyway, I will start by submitting a few photos of my work. In the case of the four Ferrari Tourist Trophy winners, I was spurred on by my visits to the Goodwood Revival where we are treated to the spectacle of watching these cars race, as they were intended to be, hard!
I was unable to find any original AMR kits of these cars so bought via Ebay, any that I could find. Sometimes I bought already built examples which were stripped down for rebuild. I had the decals printed for each individual car at considerable expense. Still have a few left over. This enabled me to build the four winners in the photo.
In the case of the Aston Martin DBR1s, Two Paddock kits were built fom the original kits but the Goodwood TT winner was only ever available as a limited edition factory built. So I bought another LeMans winner and extensively remodelled the body to produce one.
The two Tameo Ferrari F1s are straight out of the boxes.
My passion for building started at the age of 12 and to be honest, I've never really stopped since then. The other lasting passion has been my love of Triumph TRs. I have had 12 in total in 47 years, never being without one for more than a couple of months.
So there we are, Hope you like them.

Rodney.

Hi Rodney. Welcome to this great forum.

I adore your "Tourist Trophy" set. I had Ferrari 250 GT SWB s/n 2735GT built by Laurent Tay (Garage43) from a BBR kit with AMR decals.

Very nice! I saw an AeMR kit years ago but at that time could not afford it. The model world seriously lacks good kits of the Triumph TR. Those that are avaiable are poor.

You like TR's? How about this... (sadly, not mine)
