Posted - 03/28/2010 : 11:42:59 Olive was the best of the model car scratch builders (past & present included). He was the only one I have ever come across that could properly and accurately capture the proportions, shape and details of any type of car from any era and in any scale. And, all while fabricating every body from brass, very difficult to do well.
I also happened to have been his sales agent for the last 10 years of his life & career.

Posted - 03/28/2010 : 09:47:31 I'm a fan of his work too. Yes, that 250 SWB model is legendary. I've corresponded with his son, and am hoping that a book will be published one day.
