Here is a model I did for Ferrari Expo 2011 this March.

It is a modified APM resin 1/12th Ferrari 250 Breadvan. The donor diecast is a Revell 250 GTO. The rear wheel openings had to be moved back and re-flared, the vents all had to be redone, the tail squared out and nose completely redone. Lets just say it took alot of work to get it to look this way. The wheels are drilled out Scale Details handlaced.

Thank you both for your comments. I am working on another 1/12th scale kit for Ferrari Expo 2012 now. I hope it will be as interesting as this one.

That model looks great! Very impressive considering what you started with. Great job.

I would say that given what you started with, you achieved an excellent result! More than excellent, in fact.
Funny, I saw the APM Breadvan transkit on a Japanese website just yesterday and was wondering what base kit would be used.
