At this stage [prior to wet sand and polishing the body] I dry fit the photo etch parts that require shaping to the body. So far they fit nicely.





The interior components are also cleaned up and dry fit prior to paint and assembly.

The first body is wet sanded and polished. The interior is also nearly complete...

The first model is now complete...and thanks to Fred for creating this new kit, now we need the number 18 car from Pebble Beach ;)

Phil Hill arrived here today...I have two figures made by Racing Dioramics specially for two of these models. One more model with the figure and additional upgrades is available to reserve. Contact Mike for details.

This is the special edition version with Phil Hill figure by Racing Dioramics, machined brakes and fuel filler, Bosica wheels w/valve stems. One is sold and one can be reserved with Mike.
