Fred, great work as usual!
Youve done some of my repairs, and allways to my fullest satisfaction.
Restoring a modell is in some cases more difficult than building a new one!

2 more models of Fred's amazing work
A few years ago I’ve bought 2 BBR models at ebay. They were quite cheap but in very poor condition.
Unfortunately, I did not know anyone who would have repaired or cleaned my models.
I know Fred since more than 3 years. In 2010 I've asked him if he could help me and he sent me back my 2 Ferraris completely restored (repaired, cleaned and polished)
The result was absolutely amazing and real TOP!
Meanwhile I phone with him nearly every week about our newest models and hobby activities.
To Fred: In my opinion, you’ve improved yourself even more in the past few years;-) The repair of the 599 China Edition is truly a little masterpiece!

Fred, you splendidly restored the BBR de Portago Monza for your customer as it was when sold.So what I am about to say is not directed at you or your restoration. I think there was a serious mistake on the BBR model (let's bare in mind that this was a very early BBR kit and model so the mistake is understandable as at the time they did not have the numerous sources of information that we have today) nothing to do with shapes or details, we all know that it is possible to discuss every model on that, but regarding the engine and exhausts. The model shows exhausts coming fom both sides of the engine although the Monza had a inline 4. Not a big problem to correct though. |
