The first detail study...the rear view. It looks as if this may require additional research based on this photo. The kit has the rear spoiler integrated but the photo is quite different.

I started with a Google search and haven't found any good historic photos to confirm this is correct. If anyone has some feel free to post them.

Interesting... There must be some research material around somewhere, because MG Model produced a version with that tail (in 1/18), and so did G-M-C Slotcars (1/32).

Peter,
I have Doug Nye's book on the Ferrari Dino. The 66's sported tab's but the 67 and later versions appeared to have integrated spoilers. From what I can see, the car driven by Follmer and Kolb had tabs. This was chassis 008. I have the Le Phoenix kit of the Targa Florio #210 car. That car in Nye's book had the rear tabs so I conclude Le Phoenix had the car wrong.

I started with a Google search and haven't found any good historic photos to confirm this is correct. If anyone has some feel free to post them.

Makes sense Mike...apparently race development convinced them to integrate it in 67 [Ferrari was never fond of tack on spoilers].

I try not to look to other makers for historic reference but try to rely
on historic period photos. I have seen some odd guess's on models in the past ;)

And Jono you are correct...MG Models has the same tail, but as with most of their models the car is a bit clunky looking...it needs to be modeled low and sleek!
