I like to start a new thread only for self builders! If you’re a builder and collector, your invited to show your work on this thread.
My personal AMR collection consist of 90% self built models. I start of with one of my built AMR BB512 LeMans version.

This is a Ferrari 250 GT SWB California #2537 GT
I build this Models for a Friend, there is a lot of Storys behind the original Car, some says it was the Personal Car of Wolfgang Graf Berge von Trips.....
The original Car is in Swiss.
I have the Same Models as a Factory build from Ilario but the color is wrong.

Hi Gerd, your work is incredible! I think that it's impossible for me to work in such a small scale. One of my last efforts on model building is this Moto Guzzi California back in the 90s. The scale is 1:6 John

Hi John, The Moto Guzzi looks “Super” built! It doesn’t matter what scale your are building, as long it is you own built model! Gerd

Fred, you have built the model on an Ilario base, havent you? 2537GT is one of my favourite Ferraris and a truly special car, even if the "von Trips" rumour is very unlikely...
@Wolfgang and Jean Paul: Keep em coming, I enjoyed the pics of your models in the old forum and would love to see more! |

jeanpaul, I like the idea building the frame of brass tubes. If I had another AMR BB512 multi-piece kit, I would do the same. Good job! wolfgang |

Build 13 Years ago from an AMR Ref 459 where I added the airscoop on the bonnet. Back then misunderstood „Metalic grey“ as a kind of anthracite colour, so now I got a „fantasy-model“ I like very much. Kind regards Wolgang

Wolfgang, that is beautiful work! Your paint is beautiful Jean Paul, I really like the interior work. The dials and dash are really sharp. Did you make it ? Also- nice touch on the floorboard. John - the Guzzi is great. It reminds me of a friend I used to ride with in Texas that had a Guzzi. Fantastic. We both had air-cooled engines which didn't do well in hot Texas traffic, but great rides! Keep em coming. I love seeing pics of WIP also, because it gives me ideas for my next builds.
