Can someone tell me what Make Up does mean with Vision, Eidolon collection and Eidolon Make-Up? What are the diffences?

Hi Performance,
The Eidolon collection is the higher series with more details than the normal Eidolon.

And the following is a comment about the Vision series that I posted on another thread a year ago.

The VISION brand is in a lower price range than the EIDOLONfs by reducing the number of their parts, mainly interior. The following is the official announcement of the VISION brand by the MU. (I used the translator soft.)

We make use of the know-how that we cultivated by the model car development with the "EIDOLON" brand until now and, with the "VISION" brand, are going to sell it as product made in resin cast 1/43 scale handmade product model car of a new idea. In addition, we plan the car model constitution mainly on racing cars and sportscars about the 1970s with the "VISION" brand and aim at the enthusiastic model car brand for car enthusiast race enthusiast than "EIDOLON" brand.

But, Mr. Uemoto, the president of the MU, told me that the Porsche 956 24h Le Mans 1982 consists of as many parts as the Eidolonsf.

The MU produced some metal kits, such as 250 GTO, 250 LM and so on.
But not now.

The MU program is really impressive. Hopefully they will make the Vision 550 Spyder also as the James Dean car.

Its just sad that they killed the Mercedes 300 SLR Uhlenhaut from the list.

I love Make Up model, but what I don't understand is that why it says 'Make in Japan' on the bottom of the box...

Thought they were all made in China?

Same reason why BBR and MR print made in Italy....

Looking at this list its impressive, but I will not get any of them.
I am not a fan of any of these "chinamade" models.

They are beautifull! Period!
but, being a (longtime) collector, they are not interesting enough for me.

Hi Nobur32

Thank you very much for your answers on my questions! Now I understand the definitions of Make-Up Vision, Make-Up Collection and normal Make-up.

Unfortunately they does not produce kits anymore. I really have interest in kits of several V12 Zagato models (concept car, racing version and street version). Also DB3S and DB5!!

I am not a collector to buy standard handbuilt models. I prefer to buy kits and then bring it to Fred Suber to make an unique model with unique details designed by myself (same as what I have done with One-77 in the past).

It sounds crazy, but if Make-Up will produce kits of one of Aston Martin models, then I am willing to pay the same price as for standard finished handbuilt model. Without doubt.
