After four races it's maybe a little soon, but before you know it the season is half way.
Is there someone out there still positiv about the "comeback of the century"?

I still think that the comeback was a bad idea. He just couldnt win: He is one of the biggest names in F1 ever and everybody has expected him to go on with his success. The situation in which he finds hisself now isnt nescessarily his fault; in another team with a better car, he would propably do better.

But Schumacher is a very competitive person and thats what I think was the ignition spark for his comeback. It wasnt money, it was the fun and the addiction to professional racing and success. He and the team will get better and in the next season he will do much better for sure.

I remember Prost comeback in 1993. He explains it was very difficult to drive again after only one year off the track.
3 years seems long without driving at high level.

no one would expect Shumi to comeback and win right away, after 3 years break, it's just not possible. and these days, Shumi is bit too old and his competitors are too strong. remind you F1 race is one of the most physically and mentally challenging sports in the world. despite all that, Shumi is still finishing in top 10 in all races and i think it's amazing enough. it's still early stages of the season and i really think once Shumi get used to the race and regain all the senses, those young kids will have some hard time keeping up this old guy.

He has had very little testing in a car that does not compare on any level when he retired in 2006. I think he will be up to speed in the late summer/early fall. This is the crappy thing about the testing bans, which have never made sense to me. Can't afford F1??? Go to F2 or sportscars!!

I am also a strong believer of Schumacher’s comeback.
Like mentioned by others, being away 3 years from F1 is a long time.
Besides, Schumi can’t test on his own, due to the silly FIA rules.
I think, that Schumacher will be more competitive as soon the improved Mercedes will be available at the Spanish GP. The present car is 1-2 second to slow in comparing to the other top teams.

He first has to beat his team mate. Nico Rosberg is pretty good and is showing good speed with what he has.

Michael will be judged first on his ability to beat his team mate and then the others. Plenty of time to adjust and come back to form. Then and only then can we judge his real performance.

I think the car isn't at Schumacher's taste. He has always prefered oversteering cars and today, with the smaller front tyres, he struggles with an understeering one. It has, for sure, nothing to do with a lack of performance by the Mercedes as Rosberg performs currently much better.

Let's see how the car evolves but I think that Rosberg will stay in front until, at least, next year when it is possible that the regulations change once again with a possible return of Michelin in F1.

In this case, if Rosberg is still ahead of him next year, we can only believe that Schumacher is finished, unfortunately.
