Thought i would ask the experts about Nestor models and what can you say about them? Has anyone ever heard of them? How is their quality? Did they do factory builts or just kits? Did they build Ferrari's? I don't think they're in production anymore but i thought i would ask...

Nestor and Crittenden represent “Racing Dioramics”.
Nestor build’s models from Tameo and BBR KITS. His work is excellent but pricy.

If you want quality you pay for it.

Crittenden makes the driver figures. Absolutely creative in making those fine figures in 1/43 scale.
The only drawback, you have to be very patient in order to get your ordered figure or model.

I don't think we are speaking about the same guy? Nestor is Jean Liatti, a French builder who has run his own series for many years. He's still in the business and he occasionally sells his models on Ebay also. His builds are highly accurate and if you find one of his Ferrari 250 GTO's don't let it slip by.

I recently sold one his models, a Ferrari 250 SWB 2735GT Drogo Chris Kerrison Nurburgring 1963. This car had formerly been the Rob Walker 1961 250SWB #7 car raced by Stirling Moss. You can see this model on my site now, BBR74E.

Thanks Mike and everybody for their input. Anyone else have some photos to share? I recently found a Nestor built 1/43 scale Ferrari 250 GT "Drogo" CH.2053GT and was wondering if i should purchase it? This model looks splendid and much like the one pictured in Mike's photo's. It is based on the race version (red) of the 500KM of Spa Francorchamps in 1963...

Did Nestor ever make a Ferrari 330TR\LM? Does this look like his work?

I have two of them in my collection. #2053GT and #2735GT. Old stuff but pretty cool to have the Drogos Ferrari in a collection.

Beautiful Drogos IchoTolot!
Is Nestor finally Monsieur Jean Liatti?
I came across with a "Nestor model" on ebay last year.
I don't remember the model but I do remember the name.
What a pitty, I didn't knew and I let it slip by!

Yes it's him. I think he does not produce any kit anymore but if you're patient and lucky you can still find the kits, Ferrari, Maserati from time to time on Ebay.fr
