As I wanted to make the model in resin, and the some parts(photo-echted parts and bronze/rhodium bumpers)could only be ordered in larger quantities, I was 'forced' to make at least 20 'kits'. Twelve of these kits will be for sale in the future. Though the kit will be quite expensive, due to the fact that this is a very, very small hand created edition.

Thank you Jerry for the nice compliments. The model is not quite finished yet. Nevertheless it turned out to become an amazingly pretty model; A piece of art surely, but a masterpiece? I'll let the future decide about that.
I did some work on the tires, these are also custommade because the right tire size is not available. On the first picture in front of the model the 'development stages' of the tire.
The tires do look a bit to large, but that is an optical illusion due to the light color of the tires. And back in the sixties, tires were quite 'chunky'
The tire width is also perfect.....

I've showed pictures of the (partial) built model. I did not show pictures of the kit so far. The number of parts in this kit exceeds the 150......

Thanks Jerry, I made these pictures for a magazine article about the model. The pictures are very similar to the pressphotos Pininfarina made back in 1967 |
