Dear collectors,
Hereby I start a new tread of build progress of Aston Martin DBS Ultimate Edition (based on a standard Aston Martin DBS 1/24 scale Tamiya kit with extra etched parts) which will be built by Fabrice Marechal.
I will help Fabrice with designing/producing of some additional parts to convert standard DBS into DBS Ultimate Edition: - Black contours around rear lights - Diamond pattern stitching style for the chairs - Designing new license plate (yellow) with letters "DBS" in UK-license style - Designing footplate for on the base plate of the frosted acrylic display case
As color for the exterior of DBS Ultimate Edition I have choosed for the Silver Fox with yellow brake calipers (see picture below). More pictures of build progress will come.
I hope you all will enjoy to read this thread and follow the build progress of Fabrice Marechal.

Hello everyone, For reasons of time "Performance" (Remco) asked me to make a new topic to present the construction of its DBS. Rather than make a new topic, I will continue to post my photos as a result of those already posted by Remco. I hope you will not see any downside to this approach.

A big mistake in the logo, but now the problem is solved.
The second implementation of the varnish is made of three layers. The "Bare Metal Chrome" is now trapped in the varnish! At the same time, I put the varnish on another body, that of the Renault 4L!
Once hardened varnish, he will sanded and the gloss finish will be restored with Compound |

Here the varnish is sanded and polished with abrasive from 3600 to 8000. It remains to pass the abrasive 12000, and then restore a beautiful shiny with the polish
