Dear Le Mans 24h Race experts,
I've already post the same question on the Make-Up 330 P4 - PICS thread, but I'd better start this new thread, because the topic of the thread went into the different direction.

So, again, could anyone lead me to references on the meaning of the yellow dot on either the doors or the front fenders? There was a thread on this dot, which disappeared when the Mike's site was renewed.

Hans gave me the following information, "the yellow dot was a rule for Le Mans only. The color of the dot was to determine what material the body was made of. Yellow = aluminum." Thank you, Hans.

Hans is correct.
Yellow dot = aluminium
Red dot = fibreglass
