A few details for potential buyers:

Model will be presented on a very high quality Cherry base with road surface.

The body will lift off and you will be able to display it behind the chassis on a hand made body stand.

Each individual model will be assembled, detailed, painted entirely by myself and I will be available to answer questions or make modifications at the customers request during the entire process. Photos will be provided at each stage of assembly for each individual model [not a prototype].

The body is painted with a base coat / clear coat finish that is automotive grade then wet sanded and polished entirely by hand.

The kits arrived today...and the project commences.

The body castings are clean and accurate:

Window Frames are flat aluminum that are shaped to fit and then the profile will carefully be shaped by hand.

Wheels are now machined aluminum with steel wire that is to be cut and bent to the proper shape using small photo etched jigs.

The new style wheels are machine aluminum rims with stainless wire spokes and nipples. Each individual spoke is shaped and cut to the correct size with a jig.

A new machined valve stem will be used [here is a simple “dry fit”] Once the wheels are painted the correct aluminum color the stem will be installed.

Yes..the wheels are tinted blue. I prefer to use a clear blue over aluminum as opposed to a solid blue paint. Factory interiors were aluminum with a hammered gold tone which is what I use, some may call it artistic license ;)
