It's a little early for color but it is most likely a chrome yellow...but will need to verify.

Peter, all pictures of the Carrera Panamericana car I can find show an airhose (right word??) over the carburators.

It's called an airbox. I left it off of the display to show off the machined air cleaners. Much better looking then a piece of tin. "artistic license"
