Jean-Paul Magnette has begun the next "JPM-Miniwerks" series. This will be the Ferrari 250P winner of the Sebring 12 Hours in 1963. Drivers were John Surtees and Ludovico Scarfiotti.

This series is based on the Minerva43 kit. Front and rear lower parts of the body are moulded with the chassis. For best fit and accuracy, these will be cut and glued to the body.

The rocker panels lack a bit of height and give an unrealistic low aspect to the model, so it’s necessary to add some putty to correct this.

Front and lower body parts are glued. Putty will fill the holes.

Everything has been sanded, holes drilled and the inner wheel arches reworked.

Chassis are sanded and numbered and the Minerva photo-etched base plates ready to be painted.

Photo-etched part for the floor of the cockpit; after careful bending, the result is quite realistic.

A few more interior parts, along the dashboard and seats, we also have the rear view mirror and the gear selector linkage.

Body painted, underside rods are glued and a template used for the bulkhead between engine and cockpit.

With these last accessories, the model will be finished. The orange rear lights are home made resin parts as well as the chrome surrounds.
