Did BBR ever produce this model (228A/228B/228C) on the red leather base? I've seen one of the versions on the "deluxe" stitched leather base, but otherwise every one I've seen is on the standard black plastic base. I would like to add these to my collection, but don't want to hold out for a leather base version if it doesn't exist.

every model is produced on red leather base

the problem is that they are all sold out before they are built

Thank you Christian. I just happened to hear from Rainer G. this morning also, and he provided me some images of BBR228 on the leather base. Now that I know they (and all the other BBR models) were made on the leather base I will keep my eyes open for a used one on Ebay.
