This is really beautiful!!!

I wanted to have one as well. I saw one as a new release on the "Faszination Modellbau 2008" in Friedrichshafen, but I do not know, if it is the same as this one. It had a scale of 1:5 and the price was EUR 659 incl. Tax (Mwst). It was "love" at first sight! The quality was perfect, like this one but unfortunately it exploded my budget, I had only 500 for passion :(

Hi,

Riva Aquarama is made by Amati Models .
The scale is 1:10
In Italy Kit price is 280/300 €.
From the same producer and in the same scale you can find race boat "Arno" (Ferrari motorized) at about the same price

You can see models on the website www.amatimodel.com

regards Alberto

I saw one like this a couple of months ago in Rome. Absolutely stunning. I think I stood and stared at it for about 15 minutes before my wife pulled me away. Beautiful woodwork, and the detailing looked spot on. Thought about buying one and sending it home, but went with some Tod's shoes instead.
Great purchase on your part!

I think that this model can easily be turned to a radio controled one.
I've done it before to a 1/20 scale cruiser.

Thanks for all your interest! I bought this from a dealer in my home state who is now out of business. It is all hand made individual planks mahogany etc you can convert it to radio control it is 3 feet long 9inches wide. Mr Ferrari2006, it cost less than a Barnett,in fact you could buy 3 of these in place of 1 Barnett. I've never owned another model etc that attracks more attention at my house than this boat! Thanks again Ron
